VA Assist enhances the Visual Age for Java export functionality by allowing multiple
named Export Sets to be grouped together as a single Batch Export Set and executed as a
single unit.

In the list of saved Export Sets, select those Export Sets to be executed and click the
"Finish" button. The selected Export Sets will be sequentially executed as
if they were individually selected and executed in their respective Export dialogs.
In addition, saved Batch Export Sets can be nested to provide greater flexibility.
During execution of a Batch Export Set, any given Export Set will be executed once at
most, and any circular references between Batch Export Sets will be appropriately
processed.
Optionally, an external program can be specified as part
of the Batch Export Set. Either type the name of the external program directly into
the text field, or click the "Browse" button to open a file dialog to select an
external program. Once the Batch Export Set has been successfully completed, the external
program will be executed.
A "Batch Export" configuration can be saved as a named Export Set by clicking on the
"Save" button. If an Export Set was selected in the main Export dialog or recently saved using the "Save"
button, then clicking the "Delete" button will delete
that named Export Set. If no Export Set is currently loaded or the SHIFT key is
held down when the "Delete" button is clicked, then the "Delete multiple Export Sets" dialog appears.
Clicking the "Global Export Options"
button opens the Global Settings window and displays the "Export" options page.
