Normally, a project must be loaded in the
workspace for you to add packages to it or remove packages from it. VA
Assist add two new commands to the Packages menu of the Projects page in
the Repository Explorer - "Add
Package" and "Delete Package".
The "Delete Package" command allows you to delete a package
from the selected project edition. If that project edition is currently
loaded in the workspace, the deleted package will remain loaded there but
will immediately show up as being unreleased.
