The standard Add menu has been enhanced with
a new option to make it easy to create working sets. Simply select one
or more projects or packages and the "Add | Working Set" command to open up the
Working Set creation dialog with the list of projects, packages and types matching the
current selection.
Working sets can also be created from a
search result set via using the "Working Set" command on the
"Results" menu of the Search Results window.
Normally, working sets are local to a specific workspace and do not
survive workspace replacement. VA Assist adds the ability to export
working sets to files and to then import or merge them back in from files.
Multiple working sets may be imported from a file (replacing any
existing working sets).
Multiple working sets may be merged in from a file (replacing any
existing working sets by the same name).
One or more working sets may be exported to a file.
Access to working sets has also been improved by adding direct access to recently accessed working sets in any References or Declarations
menus. This is much easier than always going through the Working Set dialog for any
searches.
