Allows the developer to filter the problems page by project and type of problem. Any
problem type may be suppressed as well as any
problem associated with system packages. There are four levels of problem reporting
that are provided:
- Show All Problems - show all problems (e.g., filtering is off)
- Exclude Deprecated Warnings - hides all deprecated warnings
- Exclude Specified Problems - hides any errors and warning types chosen
by the user
- Show Only Errors - hides all warning
To filter out problems associated with system packages, enable the "Filter System
Problems" option.
To edit the list of problems to be filtered when "Exclude Specified Problems"
is in effect, select "Edit Problem Filter List..." which opens the dialog
appearing below. Any problem displayed on the problems page may be easily added to this
list by selecting it and then choosing "Add Selected Problems To Filter List".
These options may also be configured via the "VA Assist | Browser" options
page.
