Color highlighting allows the developer to quickly see what has changed since the prior
version including any modified methods, classes, packages and projects. Open
editions appear in blue.
VA Assist Enterprise Only |
| Scratch editions appear in red; unreleased versions appear in dark green and items
missing from the library are in dark cyan. The latter two options should only be used in
conjunction with a fast repository connection. If you have a problem with scrolling speed, see the note at the
bottom of this page. |

The default colors that are used may be changed via the "VA Assist | Browser"
options page.
Note: with a remote repository connection or
a slow network connection to a local repository, you should keep the "Unreleased
color", "Not in library color" and "Use colors in
Repository Explorer names lists" options turned off as these features
generate additional repository traffic and may lead a slowdown in scrolling speed within
the lists. If scrolling speed still proves to be a problem, try turning off the "Use
Colors" option altogether.
